The Fondation Thalie is pleased to present The Tea Set, a work by Rain Wu, artist who has been in residence in 2018 at Fondation Thalie, Brussels.
The Tea Set is a series of narrative objects made by Rain Wu and that has been shown at The Design Museum London, Tate Modern, and Woodruff Art Centre, Atlanta (US).
The Tea Set illustrates the cultural history around a British cuppa through a devised Tea Ceremony with Eastern attention and appreciation. Made of grogged stoneware clay, The Tea Set alludes to a ritual unearthed from a distant time.
