The Foundation expresses the current issues of ecological transition in the Arts through the format of conversation Word of Makers facing ecological emergency bringing together artists, philosophers and researchers. These dialogues between these disciplines aim to inspire new narratives for desirable futures.
In the light of global warming, how can we rethink our modes of consumption and circulation, eco-design with biomaterials, transform our approach to life and rethink our cities tomorrow?
Facing these questions, designer Antoine Fenoglio, co-founder of Les Sismo, is invited to share the concepts and commitments of the Care Design in dialogue with Loïs Giraud, student-director at the École des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP).

Antoine FENOGLIO
Antoine Fenoglio is a designer and co-founded with Frédéric Lecourt, in 1997, the design studio Sismo, based in Paris and Creuse.
As a designer, he articulates the skills necessary for the creation, experimentation and realisation of humanistic projects, which take care of individuals, the pillars of democracy and the natural environment. He also co-created with the philosopher Cynthia Fleury the “design with care” programme at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) to explore the links between philosophy, ethics and design, and to carry out actions to “think and do” in the face of major contemporary changes.They curated together the POC House Taking care in Lille (Maison POC Prendre soin), World Capital of Design in 2020.
Loïs GIRAUD
Loïs Giraud is in charge of the “care, nature and heritage” project for the Chair of Philosophy in Hospitals and is currently completing his training as a hospital director at the École des Hautes Études en Santé Publiques. He has a degree in philosophy from the Panthéon Sorbonne University and in international economic policy from SciencesPo, and strives to link theoretical and practical commitments. His most recent work has focused on nature protection policies in non-Western regions and on gardens in health care settings. Recently, he contributed to the organisation of a symposium on ecological issues in hospitals and the renovation of the CSR strategy of the health establishment to which he belongs, the CH Sud-Francilien – CH d’Arpajon.
