Arles

Façade de la maison Thalie, Arles

Located at the foot of the Arles arena, Maison Thalie exhibits both its contemporary art collection and guest artists in residence each summer, focusing on practices that incorporate bio-sourced design, craftsmanship and local resources.

The art collection reflects a commitment to ecological narratives, practices that integrate know-how and the emergence of scenes from the Global South; it is housed in this former 18th-century mansion; textile works, ceramics, sculptures, photographs and commissions from artists in situ.

The Foundation has presented the following exhibitions since its opening

  • Géologie des Âmes (Geology of Souls) - foundation collection - July/August 2025
  • Sara Ouhaddou. Assieds-toi, prends un verre de thé (Sit down, have a cup of tea) - June/September 2024
  • Jeanne Vicerial and Leslie Moquin. Persephone - July 2023
